Role Overview

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer will be responsible for the design, development and testing of automation workflows in order to improve business processes and create efficiencies to meet business objectives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and develop automation workflows in the Company’s RPA software (currently UiPath)
  • Responsible for the quality of the assigned automation
  • Support the implementation of new automation processes within established change control processes
  • Monitor the changes that happen after implementing the feedback during development or testing phase while keeping the project specifications intact.
  • Anticipate, identify, track and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to analyze process requirements and develop process documents
  • Provides guidance and help with process design from automation perspective
  • Responsible for peer code review
  • Act as subject matter expert for RPA software and resolve any related issues as required

What You Bring to BGRS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant experience
  • Strong programming and software development background
  • 3-4 years’ experience using .net, HTML, JavaScript, SQL Server database, Web Services/APIs
  • 3+ years of experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with one of the market leading RPA Platforms: Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, preferably UiPath
  • 1+ years of experience specifically working with UiPath
  • Experience with Process Analysis, Design, Implementation and System Testing
  • Experience with Business and Technical requirements
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Analytics skills to understand complex requirements, define advanced technical/functional solutions, troubleshoot issues, and identify fixes
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous improvement and learning
  • Should be able to prioritize and manage multiple portfolios
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse set of clients and vendors across multiple disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience of planning, influencing, and leading complex projects across a fast-paced, global matrix organization
  • Experience in Risk Management is an asset – Ability to develop effective risk mitigation plans and seamlessly execute, adjusting risk management approach as new risks arise; Demonstrated ability of liaising with teams to ensure they are managing/mitigating risk
  • Six sigma accreditations an asset
