Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for software development, application integration, and information system performance, and corresponding documentation.
  • Participates in requirements gathering sessions and reviews requirements documents to ensure clear testable requirements
  • Create and execute test plans and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications.
  • Participates in providing estimates for QA related tasks
  • Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
  • Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
  • Make recommendations for improvement of applications to programmers and software developers or engineers.
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
  • Test any new software to ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications.
  • Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
  • Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.
  • Support Project Management to ensure assigned QA tasks meets time, budget and quality objectives
  • Logs, tracks, verifies and reports on software defects
  • Manages and facilitates acceptance testing phase with business partners
  • Provides excellent 3rd level support to business partners

Qualifications
  • University degree or College Diploma in Management Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a US citizen and resident
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of QA experience
  • Knowledge of mobile testing tools and methodologies
  • Experience working in a global environment and working with remote teams
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices & testing methodologies
  • Experience in web and client/server applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and superior written and oral communication skills
  • Experience using test management tools such as Microsoft Test Manager preferred
  • Experience with automated testing tools
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools
  • Experience with MS SQL databases and writing queries
  • Experience using .NET framework and C#
  • Experience with AGILE or SCRUM methodologies
  • Knowledge of ITIL Service Management principles
