Training Administrator
The Global Training Administrator will provide value-added administrative, training coordination and technology support to all members of the Learning & Development Department.

Responsibilities

  • Own the coordination for all L&D Marketing communications, draft bi-weekly Digest information and announcement templates, and collaborate with Marketing to ensure L&D meet desired communication deadlines and are aware of any changes to the communication process.

  • Create, distribute, and monitor surveys and assessments as well as compile data and provide analysis to measure department customer satisfaction and learning gains as well as make recommendations for changes or enhancements.

  • Partner with HR to survey Leadership training as required by compiling data and reporting metrics as agreed upon prior to training delivery.

  • Lead the coordination of New Hire Welcome, ensuring presenters are scheduled, new hire list is circulated to the Welcome Week L&D hosts and all related presentations, including recorded training is current.

  • Manage the Learning & Development Training Calendar, announcements, registration, attendance, monthly updates and department reports in a proactive manner that keeps the organization informed of upcoming training events and accurately reports on training department metrics and accomplishments.

  • Maintain Learning & Development Access database and monthly reporting requirements, such as tracking of attendance/reports, team development hours etc.

  • Manage the allocation and deactivation of BizLibrary licenses; create monthly feature courses and monthly spotlight.

  • Provide back up support for the BizLibrary Program Manager, assisting with monthly reporting and ad hoc tasks as required.

  • Maintain the Learning & Development Department Procedural Guides to ensure department procedures are accurately documented and posted on the departments shared drive.

  • Maintain and monitor the L&D Mailbox, ensuring that all requests are dealt with in a timely manner.

  • Maintain the Learning & Development Shared Drive to ensure quick and easy access to all training materials, internal documents for our global programs including registration forms, calendars, distribution lists, attendance records etc.

  • Assist guest presenters with use of the training room, setting up links in GoTo Training and creating guides for guest presenters.

  • Responsible for monthly team meeting minute taking and distribution.

  • Establish new procedures as required to ensure consistency of training delivery and processes globally.

  • Recommend improvements or new programs and partner with other departments as necessary to evolve learning function within organization.

  • Additional projects and assignments, including oversight of a LMS, may be required.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of related work experience. Project management experience a plus.

  • BA/BS in Training, L&D, Instructional Design, Adult Education, OD, HR or related Field. Will consider relevant work experience in lieu of degree.

  • Certification from a recognized L&D/HR organization/association (ASTD/SHRM) preferred.

  • Analytical skills to complete metrics reporting, determine root causes and develop solutions

  • Knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Access. Expertise in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.

  • Knowledge of alternative delivery methods preferred (distance learning, WBT) and metrics reporting.

  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with limited supervision.
