Manager, Supplier Networks

The role of Manager, Supplier Networks (Client-Dedicated) reports to the Senior Manager, Supplier Networks in the Americas. The Manager, Supplier Networks is fully accountable for driving excellence in supplier processes and performance for their allocated client, across all regions and service lines.  The role requires a seasoned individual that can navigate through internal BGRS processes, and can interface with the Client Services team and the client themselves to build strong relationships and trust. In addition, the Manager, Supplier Networks will be responsible for building strong collaborative partnerships across the Supply Chain, support of our Client Development activities, and co-manage a team of Supply Chain professionals.

Please note; this position is based in the Burr Ridge, IL office. BGRS offers generous flex-time and work-from-home options to help with the commute.

Responsibilities
  • Involvement in and development of regional and global client interface, including client reviews and prospect presentations
  • Business development support for RFPs, RFIs, and re-bids for existing client business
  • Leadership-level contribution to sourcing and performance management of suppliers in the Americas region
  • Management of global service providers (such as temporary accommodation, language training, immigration, spousal assistance, furniture rental) in support of the client’s needs and policies
  • Generate service, cost savings, and volume reporting.
  • Research, develop, and deliver trainings for suppliers and internal operational teams in support of the client’s needs and policies
  • Apply procurement methodology to demonstrate cost savings and Supply Chain value add both to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proactively develop the role and create and advocate for new solutions for the client
  • Co - Manage a team of Supply Chain professionals

  • Ability to analyze key financial data and put in place supplier performance measurements
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and to travel
  • Experienced people manager, in all aspects of hiring, coaching, and performance management. 
Qualifications
  • 2+ years Supply Chain/Vendor Management in a leadership role (preferrably in the Relocation Industry)
  • Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management
  • Demonstrated expertise in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Foreign living experience a plus
  • College degree a must
