Role Overview
The Manager, Real Estate Services leads a team that provides marketing and inventory management services consistent with BGRS standards and practices, and client specifications. This role is responsible for ensuring that BGRS adheres to the terms and conditions of client contracts while delivering superior customer service and meeting all clients contracted performance standards.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Ensures that Premier Service Philosophy is adhered to in all dealings with clients, transferees, assignees and service partners, and that target Premier Service levels are achieved and maintained
  • Manages all aspects of the day to day activities as the People Manager of the team, including
    • Coaching and training
    • Monitoring staff performance continuously and at a minimum, formally appraises staff annually
    • Manages case load assignments and rebalances as needed
    • Ensures consistency with key standard practices – conducts audits, etc.
    • Ensures compliance with client contract requirements and company policy/practices
    • Ensures compliance with client SLA targets
  • Builds productive and effective relationships with Brokers, Client Service Teams, Clients and other suppliers as well as all supporting departments within BGRS
  • Manages on-boarding process for new employees to team, and ensures training to perform role effectively
  • Develops People Manager skills of the Team Leader
  • As required, oversees marketing and inventory for relocations of identified high profile employees (VIPs)
  • Escalation and resolution manager for client services teams and team members
  • Assists Director to continually assesses opportunities to improve team performance, and internal processes
  • Monitors and manages (through Global Alliance Management) the effective service delivery of third party vendors
  • Maintains data integrity, and ensures the timely production of effective and valid data for client reporting and BGRS internal use
  • Prepares for and contributes to regular client marketing and inventory review meetings
  • Participates as appropriate in special projects
  • Assists Director in working with the Implementation team during client on-boarding and execution of new account plans, ensuring that communication bridges, policies and procedures and processes are in place; manages successful transition of terminated accounts


What You Bring to BGRS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 5+ years experience as a relocation Consultant/Real Estate Specialist/People Manager or similar customer service roles. People management experience, relocation industry experience, and 2 years’ experience as a Team Leader (or other people management function) with BGRS preferred
  • CRP and GMS certification preferred
  • Experience with US domestic account teams, real estate experience preferred (real estate sales, title/escrow or mortgage)
  • Must poses strong customer relation skills
  • Must be organized and able to prioritize
  • Must have the ability to work with limited direction
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate professionally
  • Experience in inventory management preferred
  • Proficient in IT applications (e.g., Microsoft Office: Word, Power Point, Excel)
