Role Overview

The role is to help manage our global supplier network, reporting into the regional manager of Supplier Networks. The Supplier Networks department supports RFP projects to regularly re-select our network of suppliers, negotiates pricing, puts contracts in place, provides training on client policies and company procedures, establishes performance standards, and measures results.  Supplier Networks is also responsible for supporting business development and operations by providing internal training and attending transition meetings and client presentations

What You'll Be Doing

  • Pro-actively manage Destination, Immigration, Temporary Living, Education, Furniture Rental, Spousal Assistance Providers – Partnering with the procurement team on selection (through RFP), price negotiation, contracting, system updates, training (development and delivery), issue logging and resolution, performance review, cost, volume and performance tracking. Drive and demonstrate continuous improvement in customer satisfaction scores for owned suppliers
  • Act as principal SCM point of accountability for a portfolio of medium to high complexity clients. (IE: clients with need for tailored solutions, cost savings reporting, creative service line solutions, non-standard policies and destinations, highly diverse populations, remote locations).
  • Support allocated client services team members (as per above) with supplier issues / escalations on all service lines belonging under the Supplier Networks team
  • Act as global SCM lead for certain duties when the Global Director is based in same region/office,  e.g. client review preparation, notifications of key changes on the client.
  • Participate and present on recurring client reviews, including self-preparation via following Supplier Networks approach and process, supporting client services by meeting with head of global mobility or other client mobility team members
  • Pro-actively lead projects related to allocated client accounts, including cost savings, supplier solutions, client-specific supplier trainings, client services trainings related to supplier information, 
  • Support management of global service providers (including temporary accommodation, immigration, spousal assistance, education services, furniture rental) on a regional level
  • Provide client support for RFPs, RFIs, and re-bids for existing client business. Attend prospective low-mid complexity client meetings to represent Supplier Networks, alongside the sales lead and client services director, SVP.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills across supplier and client settings, including assuming the position of lead presenter.
  • Be proficient in procurement strategies; provide data support for pricing analysis, cost savings reports and other data tracking on supplier management.
  • Clear solution-based approach; solve complex issues and be a successful advocate for suppliers, clients and internal staff members.
  • Research, develop, and deliver trainings for  suppliers and internal operational teams.
  • Work with remote teams and build engagements with other BGRS offices.


What You Bring to BGRS

  • Must have college degree or high school diploma (or equivalent) with relevant work experience
  • Native/Fluent Level of English
  • Advanced ability in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Additional Language skills are preferred
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management
  • Experience with Supplier Management or Procurement
  • Experience living abroad or working with different cultures (particularly LATAM) preferred
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Experience in contract negotiation
  • CIPS or other supply chain management certification(s) is an advantage
  • 2 years in BGRS Supplier Networks team or three years in previous supply chain management role preferred
