Team Accountant

As part of the Global Client Accounting department, the applicant should have an eye for detail, ability to work in a high volume environment, handle multiple tasks, and able to meet deadlines. Handling internal and external customer inquiries will require the candidate to have excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency and a passion for customer satisfaction. The candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks related to servicing BGRS clients.

Responsibilities

  • Primary accounting contact for extremely high volume accounts payable invoice process.

  • Process time sensitive payment requests in a high volume department

  • Provide daily forecast to ensure availability of funds for next day transactions

  • Audit invoices for compliance to standard operating procedure and per accounting controls

  • Batch invoices and create a control total for data entry for daily wire balancing

  • Enter invoices into financial system maintaining the control totals and accuracy at all times

  • Provide customer service support to internal departments

  • Provide additional audit support as needed

 

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business/accounting/finance preferred or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 2 + years experience in operations accounting experience - data entry, accounts payable, billing, payroll

  • Knowledge of payroll processing (US domestic gross up global payroll and tax reporting, and client specific reporting)

  • Knowledge of ReloAdvantage

  • Sound decision making skills and multi-task while working in an environment of stress with specific deadlines.

  • Able to meet accuracy, timeliness and productivity goals.

  • Familiar with real estate management - mortgage, title, closing

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong internal and external customer service skills

  • Ability to be a high performance team member and display leadership and initiative
