Director, Operational Excellence (Six Sigma)
As a member of the central Operational Excellence team, this role will assist in the building of capabilities and the execution of projects across the company. The Director will assist in executing strategic performance analysis, gap assessment, opportunity identification and change implementation for critical processes across the organization, in order to deliver a scalable and sustainable best in class operations environment for the business.

Responsibilities
  • Review transversal functions for streamlining and possible consolidation. Lead and drive key strategic initiatives to increase organizational capability and efficiency, including: change initiatives, employee engagement, communications, project management, and logistical operations.
  • Develop and manage a monthly report of KPIs, identifying critical issues and action plans to attack problems. Manage project/initiative prioritization criteria, governance and key stakeholder approval.
  • Develop External benchmarking, best practice identification, evaluation, and adoption plans.
  • Communicate strategies to business owners, and collaborate with business stakeholders to assess end-to end process performance and drive sustainable transformation (including service quality and customer experience optimization, operational efficiencies, and effectiveness gains), to execute the development of the action plan in support of the overall strategy.
  • Assist in selecting, developing, leading, and coaching the Lean team, and ensure service teams are implementing the appropriate continuous improvement tools to maximize productivity and throughput while achieving service levels.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or Business Administration
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience, in the job offered or related capacity(ies)
  • Accepting 2 years of related professional experience, as equivalent to and in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
  • Must hold Six Sigma Black Belt certification, and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • 5 years of operational leadership experience
  • Experience with LEAN, TPM and Six Sigma methods
  • Experience in driving process transformation and an end-to-end process mindset
  • Record of delivering quantifiable efficiencies/performance optimization and implementing change across multiple functional areas
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead complex, large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with record of innovation and results
  • Strategic thought leader with strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to secure alignment and influence without authority at senior-leader levels
  • Excellent computer skills (MS products)
  • Experience coaching and leading teams to fully deliver chartered objectives and project
