Role Overview

The Director, Financial Implementation provides critical expertise to the BGRS Implementation, Client Services, Marketing and Client Development teams in the area of BGRS’ financial services offerings. Additionally, this role demonstrates project management ability, to ensure the comprehensive and timely implementation of new business. This results in assisting the organization to attain high client satisfaction and retention, as well as providing a competitive advantage in the service and sales arena.

Leadership Accountabilities

Ongoing People Management:

Effectively coach and develop direct reports providing learning and growth opportunities, and ongoing constructive feedback. Holds a regular cadence of 1:1 meetings with employees. Regularly assesses the priorities of the team and provides work direction and oversight. Holds employees accountable for delivering quality results and recognizes employees for a job well done.

Develops People & Culture:

Demonstrates the ability to lead others and attract, develop, manage, and retain talent for the future. Builds and protects our Company Culture, sets objective measures of success, and creates an environment conducive to high performing teams.

Creates Customer Focus:

Builds excellent customer relationships that exceed customer needs and expectations. Holds team accountable for customer excellence, loyalty and outcomes. Proactively handles difficult decisions and conversations.

Practices flexibility while remaining accountable for achieving priorities. Coaches team to adjust, learn and work through challenging circumstances. Offers team opportunities to delegate stretch assignments and re-prioritize work in response to changing priorities.

 

Core People Management Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

Collaborates with Human Resources on all talent acquisition activities. Remains active and engaged throughout the process in order to make effective talent decisions and create a powerful candidate experience.

Employee Experience:

Provides a great on-boarding and job training experience for new team members and continually contributes to creating an overall positive employee experience.

Talent Management:

Responsible for managing employee’s performance including the timely completion of all talent processes. Conducts Goal Setting, Mid-Year Check-Ins, Annual Appraisals and all other aspects of the Talent Management process for direct reports.

Employee Transactions:

Ensure that all employee transactions, including approval of time and attendance in Manager Self-Service and employee changes are completed in a correct and timely manner.

Talent Development:

Attends Leadership training sessions for self and encourages team to participate in all training and learning opportunities for their development. Coaches employees to minimize gaps, optimize performance and invest in employee’s career planning.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Support Client Development opportunities by assisting with creative solutions and expertise to enhance our corporate client with their Financial Services scope of work

  • Develop, maintain and enhance the Financial Services project plan used to implement all new client Financial Services offerings

  • Maintain proficiency in all BGRS global Financial Services offerings including funding capabilities, expense payment capabilities, global payroll, cost estimate and compensation services offerings

  • Manage project development and implementation for new client transitions and special projects for existing clients with attention to appropriate global process compliance, controls and BGRS resource management

  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of BGRS financial processes and controls and ensure new clients are on- boarded in a consistent, effective and efficient manner and are in compliance with BGRS standards

  • Develop practical and creative solutions to complex financial services problems for BGRS and BGRS clients while fully addressing systems, rules, procedures, quality, controls and metrics

  • Develop tools that support team in project plan management and documentation of decisions made during implementation of new clients and client projects

  • Act as a resource on best practices and solutions on Global Financial Services for Implementation, Financial Services, Client Development, Client Services and Marketing

  • Respond to RFI/RFP questions and provide sample project plans/time lines as they relate to BGRS Financial Services offerings

  • Work with BGRS Departments and direct reports to identify and implement ongoing improvements to the transition process

  • Partner with Client Development, Client Services and the Legal teams to determine accurate and appropriate scope of services, document service delivery and transition implementation of new services to the CFS Team
  • Liaise with BGRS internal departments to maintain expertise on current BGRS Financial Services offerings and coordinate client financial needs.
  • Develop and conduct presentations to new and existing clients on our Financial Services offerings

 

 

What You Bring to BGRS

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Discipline and candidates with experience in mobility industry
  • Preferably with Worldwide ERC GMS certification or willingness to obtain within two years in position
  • Proficient understanding of international assignment practices, international compensation support and payroll delivery, global mobility policy benefits, and financial procedures

  • Demonstrated project management experience and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects

  • Demonstrated presentation and client facing skills

  • Superior business acumen, analytical focus and attention to detail (superior e-mail etiquette, effective and polished communication skills both written and verbal, responsive to inquiries/requests)

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities such as resource allocation and management as well as coaching and developing personnel

  • Proactive approach to issue resolution/opportunity pursuit, stellar proof reading/document formatting abilities

  • Experience in Service Delivery or similar client services/operational roles and able to effectively counsel clients and internal business partners

  • Analytical skills to determine root causes, develop solutions

  • Understanding of sales, marketing, client relations roles and their inter-dependence

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment (word, excel, PowerPoint)

  • Preferable experience with Service Engine and AssignmentPro
