Role Overview

The Senior Compensation Analyst is accountable for partnering with team members to ensure completeness and accuracy of the client financial services processes for all assigned clients. This position also has responsibilities that include client and process driven projects that require independent work abilities, organizational and leadership skills, working with multi-level employees and managers, and collaborating within local and global virtual teams. This position will serve as technical subject matter expert for key internal contacts.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare and review compensation balance sheets, global compensation accumulation, tax equalizations, Certificates of Coverage, US add to earnings payroll, global, and shadow payroll
  • Ensure accurate review of balance sheet and payroll through use of policy review, reading of supplier tables (AirInc and Mercer), and logical application of knowledge
  • Utilize internal database and client toolkits to monitor that client due dates are being met based on established payroll calendar and collection schedule
  • Timely review of global compensation accumulation and pay register data
  • Assist with audit of returned compensation accumulation for reasonability and policy adherence
  • Audit global statements of earnings for reasonability and policy adherence
  • Review tax equalization and certificates of coverage entries logged in internal systems for accuracy and completeness
  • Support analysis and reporting based on client-specific requirements
  • Assist in reviews of year-end processes through communication and delivery of client-specific reporting
  • Help provide feedback during annual review process
  • Report feedback on staff to manager and team lead to deliver real-time feedback to team members
  • Provide training opportunities to immediate team, as necessary
  • Technical resource for analysts on day to day client financial services processes or issues (first point of escalation)
  • Participate in Client Financial Services team meetings, cross departmental meetings, conference calls and training as needed
  • Proactively recommend, document, and implement process improvements and efficiencies
  • Engage in additional departmental and/or company-wide projects as needed


What You Bring to BGRS

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent job experience
  • Global mobility experience preferred
  • Effectively partner with internal and external associates
  • Ability to dissect complex issues and overcome obstacles
  • Demonstrate commitment to team, culture and values
  • Understand and document processes in a high volume environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Knowledge of Excel including Vlookups, Pivot Tables, and Formulas preferred
