Role Overview


The Senior Manager, Intercultural Training and Talent Development is responsible for managing the program design and training materials for all services provided by the BGRS Intercultural Group. The Senior Manager will be responsible for training methodology and training materials across all program types including assessment, expatriate training, repatriation and retention/career management, youth training, global competency development, coaching, leadership training, teambuilding and intercultural business training. This includes ongoing materials upgrades as well as new program and materials development. Provides program design support for new business development and supports new product development for strategic service expansion. Functions as the program and design specialist to participate in client projects on consultative recommendations for intercultural and talent development solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Responsible for training material content across multiple training programs for expatriate training, business training, coaching, talent development and assessment.
    • Ongoing management and upgrades of existing materials
    • Development of new training content to meet client needs and business expansion
    • New product development
  • Support for service delivery team on program design and materials development for client requests
  • Program development and content specialist for high level client projects, partnering with team and client on needs assessment and customized program design and recommendations
  • Provide support to global trainer network
    • Support for trainers in areas of program design, training approach, materials and customization to meet specific client needs
    • Provide development for trainer network - skills development, introduction of new materials, improving consistent usage of materials, methodology and program quality
    • Support development and engagement of entire network through initiatives such as training webinars and awards/newsletters
    • Assist with lead generation and qualification process for potential new trainers

  • Education Requirements Minimum:
    • University degree or equivalent experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft environment
    • Expertise in intercultural training, talent development, training content development, global mobility, coaching
  • Education Requirements Preferred:
    • MA in Intercultural or Training Design
    • One or more languages in addition to English
    • Corporate training design or intercultural trainer experience
  • Experience Minimum:
    • 8+ years experience with intercultural industry
    • International working/living experience
  • Experience Preferred:
    • 15+ years experience in a client-oriented environment with intercultural training, training design, coaching and/or broader talent development expertise
