Role Overview:

We are seeking a resourceful and motivated lndividual to join our Human Resources team for a 2 month part-time (2-3 days / week) contract in our Toronto office. Reporting to the Manager, HRIS and Data Analytics, the HRIS Analyst is responsible for creating standard reports and providing  ad-hoc data for use in statistical analysis, strategic planning, internal/external surveys and presentations and reports.

The successful candidate must be solutions oriented, have a keen attention to detail, and be effective at collecting, organizing and analyzing employee and other internal data.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of best in class reporting practices to bring standardization and consistency to Global metrics and reporting requirement associated with Human Resources
  • Producing regular scheduled reports and analyzing data from HCM and performance management databases on time and ad-hoc as required by business partners, utilizing SQL to extract data from the HRIS
  • General HRIS administration as required:  e.g password resets, troubleshooting access issues, etc.
Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:Post-secondary diploma or degree in a business-related discipline (human resources, business administration, computer science or programming preferred)
  • Proficiency in creating systems queries, and presenting data analysis
  • Technical expertise in data mining, modeling and management
  • Proficiency in HCM software would be an asset
  • Advanced computer skills in MS SQL and MS Windows environment and software - specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint is a must
  • Ability to write SQL queries to research, analyze, and troubleshoot data and to create business reports
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure to and maintain a positive and professional demeanor while meeting all deadlines, conflicting demands, and multiple priorities
  • Must be discreet and demonstrate excellent sound judgment, analytical ability, diplomacy and tact to deal effectively with all levels in the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal business communication and interpersonal skills
