Role Overview

Senior Team Accountant – Enrollments and 1099 Reporting

As part of the Global Client Accounting department, the applicant should have an eye for detail, ability to work in a high volume environment, handle multiple tasks, and able to meet deadlines.  Internal and external customer inquiries will require the candidate to have excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency and a passion for customer satisfaction with a control mindset.  The candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks related to servicing BGRS clients acting as the primary contact for oversight of the 1099 process and IRS documentation requirements related to supplier set-up.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee audit procedures relating to supplier set-up and 1099 reporting
  • Analyze, research and resolve any 1099 and other IRS form-related issues
  • Reconcile payments processed to reports generated for 1099 reporting
  • Coordinate and monitor the 1099 reporting functions including year-end distribution of 1099 forms
  • Responsible for setting up supplier profiles in BGRS applications
  • Audit supplier set-up and banking detail for accuracy and validate the requirements provided
  • Able to meet accuracy, timeliness and productivity goals
  • Process time sensitive requests in a high volume department
  • Provide customer service support to internal and external customers



What You Bring to BGRS

  • 3 - 5 years accounting experience with an emphasis in supplier maintenance and 1099 administration
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong conceptual thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong problem solving skills
  • Internal and external customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to be a high performance team member and display leadership and initiative
  • Adaptable to procedural enhancements and modifications
