Role Overview:

Primary Accountability:

Manager will deliver timely and accurate transactional audits, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the Client Accounting Production teams. This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement by designing and implementing effective and efficient control processes, reporting, trending, analysis and corrective action plans. In addition, they will manage individual and departmental metrics, leadership development and associate training and resource allocation. This role requires the ability to liaise effectively with internal global partners to ensure that specific requirements, expectations and operational efficiencies are proactively managed.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Workload management including volume fluctuations, client projects, company initiatives, etc.

  • Employee hiring, training and ongoing development of leadership and core competencies

  • Performance Management, including team and individual goal setting, documentation and review of performance and appraisals, monthly one-on-ones and addressing performance challenges

  • Oversight and direction to leaders, managing day-to-day operations to meet deliverables

  • Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for improved accuracy and increased productivity/efficiency

  • Continued efficient and effective audits and controls

  • Reporting and trending of individual and team results

  • Development and maintenance of documented processes

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ supervisory experience, incl. direct reports, deadlines and complex issue resolution

  • 5 years’ payroll, accounting or finance experience in a high volume environment

  • High level computer proficiency including Outlook, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint

  • Related university degree

  • Relocation industry related job experience preferred
