Role Overview:

This position is responsible for executing the supplier sourcing strategy of the Supply Chain Management group (SCM). Position will interface with relevant departments to understand core services and needs of BGRS stakeholders. Position will lead sourcing projects incorporating use of supplier management software solutions and working with each of the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to execute supplier sourcing events and perform cost benefit analyses and identify savings.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be able to work in a team setting, display good judgment, be detailed oriented and have strong computer proficiency skills in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and various other software programs.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work with the supplier network owner to prepare a supplier sourcing event including RFI, RFP, RFQ as required for the event
• Utilizing the supplier management system, update all RFx components, supplier invites, expectations
• Conduct the RFx and manage all scoring
• Prepare final analysis of the sourcing event and present to the network owner
• Collaborate on any best and final required for the sourcing event
• Participate in final selection and prepare or collect all documentation required for the final supplier selection
• Responsible for contract execution through the supplier contract management system
• Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to assess and meet business needs
• Maintain all features of the supplier management system, including further enhancements to functionality
• Develop customized user guides and deliver training
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in bid development and execution
• Identify new opportunities for cost savings and increased service levels
• Drive bid projects forward and support all team members as required
• Other duties as required in a changing work environment.

What You Bring to BGRS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of sourcing/procurement work experience
• Strong technical skills with proven ability in supplier sourcing and management software
• Results oriented and must have excellent analytical problem solving and execution skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to set expectations and build consensus among teams at all levels
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Flexibility to respond to needs across time zones
• MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and various other software programs
• Familiarity with SaaS Supplier Sourcing systems such as Bravo Solution, Global eProcure or Ariba
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
