Role Overview


The Manager, Talent Acquisition is a member of the HR Solutions team, providing talent acquisition business partnering and consulting to People Managers in the United States region. This role proactively advises on recruiting best practices, develops recruitment talent attraction strategies, leads Talent Acquisition project initiatives, and participates in other HR project teams. The successful candidate is a hands-on manager, who has worked in a corporate HR department, providing Talent Acquisition services to internal stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement proactive recruitment sourcing strategies, as well as ongoing plans to address current and future talent needs.
  • Lead and implement global and regional talent acquisition projects, programs, policies and recruitment tools.
  • Proactively review and analyze recruitment data to identify trends and opportunities, and present recommendations for change, improvements and efficiencies to the Director, Human Resources, US.
  • Identify, source and interview for current open roles within the organization.
  • Identify future talent needs and proactively recruit and source to develop a talent pool.
  • Act as a BGRS brand ambassador, counseling candidates on the company, benefits, salary, and work environment.
  • Define the candidate experience and continuously seek to improve it both internally and externally.
  • Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers and HR colleagues, by staying involved in talent acquisition and development trends, competitive intelligence and candidate feedback.
  • As a member of the Human Resources team, develop relationships, as appropriate, with third party agencies and staffing firms and participates in the feedback and procurement process as required.
  • Responsible for management of the Talent Acquisition function, which includes full life-cycle recruiting: managing internal and external job postings, ensuring proper approvals, actively sourcing and interviewing quality candidates, and managing third party agencies.
  • Engage with global HR partners to help grow and develop recruitment capability across the function.
  • Oversee the creation of any Talent Acquisition communications to US or Global employees and/or people managers.
  • Work closely with Marketing & Communications to ensure communications, activities and the candidate experience are consistent with brand standards.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on global Talent Acquisition metrics, through the creation and use of a global recruitment dashboard.
  • Keep current and closely aware of industry trends and come forward with practical ideas for change and implementation.
  • Maintain personally identifiable information with high standards relating to discretion and confidentiality.
  • Promote an understanding of and adherence to the organization’s philosophy, processes, programs and policies.
  • Builds strong relationships across multiple functions and locations to best enable and support change management efforts.
  • Participate in job evaluation committee meetings to provide insight and input to the business regarding the creation of new positions within BGRS.
  • Participate in other HR projects as required.


What You Bring to BGRS

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of a combination of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition/Recruiting experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience at a management level.
  • Experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and/or Talent Acquisition System, as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Experience creating and developing Talent Acquisition metrics, including a dashboard that highlights critical talent trends.
  • Willing to participate in conference calls outside of regular business hours to accommodate the global HR team.
  • Strong decision making skills with demonstrated ability to present a thoughtful business approach to all decisions.
  • Superior customer service skills with the internal client base and global HR/Recruiting team.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills), with a demonstrated ability to proactively communicate with People Managers, colleagues and business contacts.
  • High energy, flexible individual with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, while keeping those involved apprised of developments and ensuring team follows through on deliverable in a timely manner.
  • Perseverance and a drive for results with a bias for agility.
  • Project planning and implementation experience.
  • Preferred experience working with multiple locations in a matrix organization.
