Role Overview

The Manager, Client Services is a strategic and operational partner to a variety of business units that enables global mobility for all of the business needs.

The Manager, Client Services will counsel the business on all aspects of domestic and international mobility including: the benefits offered, tax compliance, compensation, immigration, and country conditions/lifestyle. The Manager will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a compliant program within budget guidelines and for finding creative solutions where needed. They will ensure a smooth hand-off to, and ongoing management of, external suppliers, while providing Premier Service to the client and their employees at all times during the assignment.
 

What You’ll Be Doing
 

• Build productive and effective relationships with clients, assignees and suppliers as well as within BGRS
• Ensure that Premier Service Philosophy is adhered to in all dealings with clients and assignees and that Premier Service levels are achieved
• Manage all aspects of the day to day activities of the team including coaching and training; monitor performance continuously and formally appraise performance at least annually
• Consult with client managers and assignees as necessary regarding their assignment packages, immigration, policy issues, etc.
• Continually assess opportunities to expand client relationship, improve team performance and internal processes with Director
• Monitor and manage (through Supply Chain Management) the effective service delivery of third party vendors
• Prepare for and contribute to regular client review meeting

What You Bring to BGRS
 

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred but not essential
• Must possess a good understanding in the areas of immigration, balance sheets, assignment
  package review, assignee transfer process, international payroll issues (including reconciliations) year-end process, reporting requirements, cost projections and policy development and the application of this knowledge to moderately complex client situations
• Must have the ability to handle a large client base and provide proactive Premier Service
• Ability to delegate work to junior staff and ensure quality and timely completion of work
• Proven experience as a Consultant or similar customer service role in another organisation, or 2 years in a Consultant role within global relocation services
