Accountant

As part of the Accounting department, the applicant should have an eye for detail, ability to work in a high volume environment, handle multiple tasks, and able to meet critical deadlines. Managing internal and external inquiries will require the candidate to have excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency, and problem solving abilities. The role will involve working with teams in international offices and assisting in co-ordination of audit requests.

Responsibilities
 

• Complete balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts

• Assist with the statutory audits of the company’s foreign operations

• Prepare intercompany analysis and reconciliations

• Assist with the compilation of corporate tax return information

• Assist with 3rd party outsources accounting firms to ensure the international accounting and statutory accounting requirements are being properly recorded and reported

• Ensure proper updates of all policies and procedures

Qualifications
 

• BA/BS Degree or Equivalent experience

• 3+ years of Accounting experience, with 2 years public accounting experience preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Detail oriented

• Strong analytical and investigative skills

• Advanced Excel skills

• Knowledge of IGP, GSPSE, and iZone helpful

• Experience in the Relocation industry would be a plus

• CA, CPA or CGA designation preferred
