Summary of Job:

The Specialist’s role is to help manage our supplier network in EMEA, reporting into the team’s Regional Manager.  The Supply Chain Management (SCM) department is responsible for supplier selection, negotiating pricing, contracting, training, and supplier performance management, with focus on client satisfaction.  SCM is also responsible for supporting business development and Client Services by providing internal training and attending client review meetings and presentations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing lower volume Destination Service Providers – Selection (through RFP), price negotiation, contracting, system updates, training, issue logging and resolution, performance review
  • Act as principal SCM point of accountability for portfolio client base, other accounts primarily focused outside of the EMEA region, and lower complexity clients 
  • Support allocated client services team members (as per above) with supplier issues / escalations on all service lines (not limited to Destination Service Providers) belonging under the Supplier Networks team
  • Provide administrative support for client RFPs / RFIs, and re-bids for existing client business
  • Lead data integrity reviews and work with the suppliers to improve IGP completion
  • Support more senior SCM team members with projects and administrative tasks, e.g. issue log updating, site visit log, contract development, survey alert follow up and logging.
  • Support more senior SCM team members with client meeting/review preparation, including supplier performance data analysis and slide preparation
  • Occasionally support client transitions / attend client meetings
  • Develop solid skills in Excel and understanding of procurement strategies; provide data support for pricing analysis, cost savings reports and other data tracking
  • Clear ability to present solutions; solve issues and be a supplier, client and internal advocate

Job Specifications:

Education:

  • Minimum:
  • Strong ability in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Fluent Level of English
  • Preferred:
  • Other Language skills
  • College/University degree or equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum:
  • One year in Relocation Industry OR one year in supply chain management role
  • Preferred:
  • Experience of living abroad or working with different cultures
  • Experience in client/assignee relationship management and transactional supplier management
