Role Overview

Senior Team Accountant – Home Sale Billing

In this role, the candidate will process and audit invoicing and ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of documentation. Candidate must have excellent analytical and communication skills, a sense of urgency, and a passion for client satisfaction. The candidate will also audit reconciled Home Sale transactions after the 3rd party close of the transferee’s home completed by the assigned title supplier. The applicant will encounter complex issues and must have the ability to transform them into manageable components.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Review weekly billing report and prioritize work
  • Audit client charges against billing requirements and client contracts
  • Run required reports
  • Generate invoices
  • Reconcile invoice data to reports
  • Complete billing process or take appropriate action if issue is found
  • Meet quality, timeliness, and productivity metrics
  • Adhere to operating procedures, policies, and internal controls
  • Perform audits and research issues
  • Review and audit Home Sale related expenses on closed files
  • Assist with projects as needed

What You Bring to BGRS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of operations accounting experience - Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong internal and external customer service skills
  • Ability to be a high performance team member and display leadership and initiative
