Role Overview

Reporting to the Director, Treasury, the Senior Treasury Analyst will lead the day-to-day cash management and short term funding requirements of the Company’s global operations, and will play a key role in the ongoing development and maintenance of the Company’s global banking infrastructure covering North America, EMEA, APAC and South America.  The Senior Treasury Analyst will also play a lead role in the client credit analysis and review process. The Senior Treasury Analyst is also the primary backup the other Senior Treasury Analyst with responsibilities of maintaining the company’s securitization reporting process, leading weekly AR performance calls, managing the quarterly covenant reporting as well as supporting various Tax initiatives as necessary.

 

The Senior Treasury Analyst will also support the Company’s Corporate Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis groups as required by assisting in gathering and analyzing data, and assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables and board presentation materials.
 

Primary Responsibilities

Provide support for all cash management operations including but not limited to:

  • Cash & Liquidity Management (50-75%):
    • Compile, review and forecast daily cash positions and daily cash requirements of the global operations ensuring all necessary funding is achieved in a timely manner
    • Monitor and respond to day-to-day banking service requests
    • Analyzing historical daily liquidity trends to develop predictive modelling in support of the 12-week cashflow forecast process
    • Maintaining and track movement of global funds including the management of multi-currency notional pooling system
  • Administration and Controls:
    • Ensure internal controls (SOx) procedures are adhered to
    • Assist in the management of banking related costs and consolidation of banking services, bank accounts and online bank administration
  • Credit:
    • Perform client credit reviews, financial analysis
    • Participate/lead weekly calls with the collections team on client receivables performance and its impact on our Securitization facility
  • Other:
    • Working with other functional areas to drive working capital management efficiencies and improvements to the forecast process
    • Being primary backup for the management and reporting of the Securitization and Credit facilities

Other ad-hoc financial analysis and projects including but not limited to: 
  • Participate in funding settlements and monitoring receivable portfolios in relation to the Securitization facility
  • Assist in preparing month-end and quarter-end management reporting and analysis
  • Support process improvement projects as required
  • Participate in ongoing financing and refinancing activities as required


Qualifications

  • University degree with a commerce, business or finance focus
  • Accounting and/or CTP designated (or near completion)
  • 2+ years of Treasury experience in a multinational global organization
  • Financial modelling and strong understanding of financial statements and related disclosures to support the credit review and recommendation process
  • Strong computer literacy including but not limited to using excel and pivot tables
  • Familiarity with credit rating service providers and products
  • Familiarity with treasury management systems, including its implementation, would be an asset
  • Experience with credit facility covenant reporting is ideal but not necessary
  • Experience with day-to-day management of a securitization facility is ideal but not necessary
