Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop an assigned client services team that drives high performance, promotes employee engagement and contributes to the organization’s talent management objectives

  • Manages all activities, including those performed by third party suppliers related to the mobility process, the ongoing assignment, and repatriation, where appropriate, of designated relocations

  • Drives business excellence that includes technical and financial operational effectiveness, creates customer focus, cultivates collaboration, incorporates BGRS value initiatives, and helps to shape BGRS' short and long term future

  • Provide mobility training to resourcing and/or HR, as requested

  • Supports the assigned client team and support teams with tax, immigration, and program compliance

  • Build productive and effective relationships with clients, assignees and direct suppliers as well as within BGRS

  • Maintains data integrity, including updating the BGRS client database and provides the required data for the production of status reports

  • Participates as required in special projects to develop BGRS’ values

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred but not essential

Other Information:

  • Minimum combined 5 years’ experience as an International Assignment Manager, Relocation Consultant/People Manager or similar customer service roles with understanding of escalation management and high touch customer focus
  • Demonstrated experience/knowledge in the areas of immigration, balance sheets, assignment package review, assignee transfer process, international payroll issues (including reconciliations) year–end process, reporting requirements, cost projections and policy development, tax compliance and requirements, and the application of this knowledge to moderately complex client situations
  • Expatriate tax experience preferred
  • Demonstrated people management skills and client relationship skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure quality and timely completion
  • Excellent oral and presentation savvy with fluency in speaking and writing in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels within the organization
  • Effective and efficient in decision making, conflict management and problem resolution
  • Ability to handle high stress and escalation situations and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Proficient in IT applications (e.g., Microsoft Office: Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • Some travel may be required
  • Position may require off-hours flexibility/ability to work across global time zones
